RARI Delegation Efforts

What is happening

This delegation effort is dedicated to celebrating and empowering RARI DAO delegates who play a key role in RARI governance! With Cohort 2 of the Delegate Launchpad coming to a close, it’s time to delegate $RARI to active contributors.

Learn more about delegating your $RARI in this newsletter article and meet the active delegates in this thread.

*Note delegate activity is determined from a delegate score implemented from RRC-13, and for use in the Verified Governance Identity thread.

Purpose

This initiative aims to enhance participation from delegators via $RARI token delegations to active delegates, increase recognition for active delegates via $RARI delegations, and continue maturing the RARI community’s decision-making process.

The process of delegating your voting power in the form of veRARI is very simple and is designed for community members who:

  • Still wish to be involved in the DAO but have no time or capacity for active participation
  • Have found a delegate with a steady track record of DAO participation whose vision aligns with theirs

Thus, locking and delegating any idle $RARI to active delegates enables them to more actively participate in RARI governance while bolstering decentralized DAO operations.

Timeline

Ongoing while proposing enhancements to RARI DAO governance (read more on the proposed governance upgrades on Tally and Arbitrum’s forum). Dedicated AMAs with the delegates will be scheduled and shared with the community once confirmed.

      1. Update your delegate profile on Tally, including your name and/or ENS
      2. Complete your Tally profile per the Delegate Statement Template instructions and also comment on the Delegate Statement post with your completed template
      3. Select the ‘Active delegate’ checkbox on your Tally profile HERE
