Please share your motivation, inspirations, and goals for RARI DAO: Rari DAO is focused on building a web3 platform for artists. We chose to be delegates for Rari DAO to support the decentralization and growth of NFT marketplaces. With reliable governance, Rari DAO will be able to scale sustainably. We choose to play a key role in turning Rari DAO’s vision into reality.
Explain your general governance approach and strategy for balancing community interests: As delegates, we actively participate in governance discussions providing feedback to ensure governance proposals meet the highest quality standards and DAO funds are used in a sensible way. We aim to make the Rari DAO self-sustainable and grow to support artists in the web3 ecosystem.

My motivation is to make sure that creators and artists, particularly from underrepresented parts of the world like Africa, have access to the tools, platforms and support needed to navigate and utilize the decentralized world of web3 via the RARI Ecosystem.
My inspiration comes from the potential of blockchain technology to enhance finance, art, and governance systems.
My goal for RARI DAO is to contribute towards development of Rari Chain’s innovations as well as advocate for initiatives that support inclusivity, decentralization of RARI protocol and sustainable governance.

We are a team of dedicated governance enthusiasts who have been in the crypto governance space for over three years. Our team were some of the first members involved in defi governance and we want to apply what we have learned over here to Rari. Rari has great potential for growth in the NFT sector and we want to play an active role in scaling sustainable, while supporting the continued decentralization and growth of NFT marketplaces.

Our approach is focused around our values of:
Growth: Our decisions are primarily focused on the growth of the protocol. This often results in how to spend money efficiently, but even more importantly and objecting for unreasonable spends and knowing when to vote no.
Transparency: Clear communication with votes and explanations of reasoning, and an equivalent demand for proposals to do the same. Too often we see thousands, if not millions, being rolled up together and glossed over during proposals.
Accountability: Too often once a decision is done, having proper accountability becomes an afterthought. Whether it’s a DAO promise or a grant or a new program, once a DAO votes something in, we forget about it. Our goal with PGov is to both continue to check in on these decisions as well as ensure that there are proper channels set up to ensure accountability.
