Rarible Creator Fund Program
First Quarter Report (Q1 2025)
Date: December 14, 2025
Prepared by: Rarible Creator Fund Working Group
Program Overview Reference: Rarible Creator Fund Program
Working Group Reference: Establishment of the Creator Fund Working Group
Executive Summary
The Rarible Creator Fund Program, stewarded by the RARI Foundation, aims to support innovative creators, brands, and communities building on the Rarible ecosystem and advancing onchain commerce. In its first quarter of active operations in 2025, the program received 161 grant applications. After careful review, two grants were awarded, one grant equivalent to $5,000 in value, delivered in full as $RARI tokens, and a second grant equivalent to $5,000 in value in $RARI tokens, partially delivered.
The Working Group prioritized projects demonstrating strong potential alignment with the RARI ecosystem, though most applications lacked clear revenue-generating mechanisms or sustainable models. Both awarded projects are scheduled to launch on MegaETH. As the MegaETH mainnet is not yet fully live for public use (currently in beta phase with full public launch anticipated in early 2026), no revenue has been generated from these initiatives to date.
Remaining funds stand at 94,377 $RARI tokens (approximately $31,382 USD as of report date). The program continues to emphasize transparency, community impact, and long-term value creation in line with the RARI Foundation’s mission.
Program Activity
- Applications Received: 161
The program attracted significant interest from creators across the NFT and onchain space. Applications varied in scope, including digital art collections, community initiatives, and protocol integrations. - Review Process and Criteria: The Working Group evaluated submissions based on community, potential impact on the Rarible ecosystem, team execution capability, and revenue-generating potential. A key observation was that the majority of applications did NOT demonstrate viable paths to sustainability or revenue, leading to a selective approval rate. This rigorous approach ensures fund allocation maximizes value for the RARI DAO and community.
