About:

We are a team of dedicated governance enthusiasts who have been in the crypto governance space for over three years. Our team were some of the first members involved in defi governance and we want to apply what we have learned over here to Rari. Rari has great potential for growth in the NFT sector and we want to play an active role in scaling sustainable, while supporting the continued decentralization and growth of NFT marketplaces.

Core Values:

  • Growth: Our decisions are primarily focused on the growth of the protocol. This often results in how to spend money efficiently, but even more importantly and objecting for unreasonable spends and knowing when to vote no.

  • Transparency: Clear communication with votes and explanations of reasoning, and an equivalent demand for proposals to do the same. Too often we see thousands, if not millions, being rolled up together and glossed over during proposals.

  • Accountability: Too often once a decision is done, having proper accountability becomes an afterthought. Whether it’s a DAO promise or a grant or a new program, once a DAO votes something in, we forget about it. Our goal with PGov is to both continue to check in on these decisions as well as ensure that there are proper channels set up to ensure accountability.

Disclose any Conflict(s) of Interest: If situations arise, we will abstain from a vote, and clearly state the conflict on the forums.

RRC-36 Rumble.exchange - DAO Support Proposal

We voted Against: While interesting we decided to vote against this proposal as we don’t think it will be very successful on its own, especially long term. There is a lack of comprehensive details on the project’s sustainability and its potential impact on the RARI ecosystem. Additionally, a unclear and lack of follow ups is concerning as it is needed for future milestone funding.

RRC-37: RARI Foundation 2025 Operational Budget

We voted Yes: This proposed 2025 operational budget for the RARI Foundation is a strategic investment in the continued growth and decentralization of the RARI ecosystem. The focus on transitioning governance to the RARI chain, supporting key ecosystem projects, and executing a treasury diversification strategy demonstrates a strong continued commitment to the DAO.

This budget is very reasonable and we are in support. Looking forward to the upcoming year!

RRC 38: Updating and Migrating Delegate Launchpad Program to RARI chain

We voted Yes: Upgrading and migrating the Delegate Launchpad Program to the RARI chain makes a lot of sense and further achieves the DAOs goals. Key adjustments include maintaining a constant voting power allocation over a six-month period without decay, allowing delegates to apply for multiple cohorts with increased delegation upon repeated acceptance, and integrating the Event Horizon delegation model to enhance governance efficiency.

RRC-39: Multichain Primary & Secondary Protocol Fees

We voted Yes: Implementing multi chain primary and secondary protocol fees is a logical move that aligns with RARI DAO’s objectives of increasing revenue streams and promoting sustainable growth.

With expanding fee collection to multiple chains and introducing a primary protocol fee for NFT mints, the DAO can capture previously missed revenue from secondary trading across various supported chains.

RRC-40: RARI DAO Delegate Incentive Program

We voted Yes: This Delegate Incentive Program is a good approach at enhancing governance participation by rewarding active and engaged delegates. This should result in a lot more forum discussions going forward and should address delegate disengagement and low voter turnout.
