As part of it’s mandate to host governance calls when necessary, the Governance Working Group will host the second proposal review call on Tuesday November 26th at 16 UTC in the discord server voice channel.
This call will be primarily focused around discussions involving Goals and KPIs which the DAO should set in order to steer itself in a unified direction. This discussion is initiated by @dzonson.eth
Here’s the slide from @cr1st0f presentation during today’s overflow call. Couldn’t attach the recording as the audio got rugged; might need to bring craig bot into the DAO’s Discord or host future overflow calls in Google Meet.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the recent call and slide—it’s an excellent foundation for aligning Rari DAO’s Mission, Vision, and Purpose. I couldn’t join, but I’ve reviewed the material and reflected on how we can build on it effectively.
I also revisited the work already done by Rari DAO, to check the progress in areas like treasury sustainability, community incentives, and governance improvements. While those initiatives have laid a strong foundation, it’s clear that aligning around high-level goals will help us prioritize future efforts and measure their success more effectively.
Context
Many DAOs, including Rari, face challenges when it comes to defining a shared direction. Without clear goals, it’s difficult to evaluate proposals or understand how contributions align with the broader mission. Other DAOs have tackled this issue successfully, providing valuable insights:
Arbitrum DAO: Their structured approach to unifying Mission, Vision, and Purpose ensures their ecosystem development aligns with long-term objectives. See their process here
Lido DAO: Implemented the GOOSE framework to set measurable 1- and 3-year goals, which has helped guide their decision-making effectively. Learn more about GOOSE
Scroll DAO: They use co-creation cycles to engage their community in every stage of strategic decision-making, ensuring inclusivity and transparency. Scroll’s Co-Creation Cycle
These approaches highlight the value of iterative, community-driven processes, which we can adapt to Rari DAO’s unique needs.
Proposed Goals and KPIs for Rari DAO in 2025
The following goals and KPIs are purely orientational and would require significantly more time to refine and tailor to our current metrics and community priorities. My hope is that this serves as inspiration and a starting point for discussion—they are fully open to change. Given the likelihood of an approaching bull run, we can afford to be more ambitious in setting our sights for 2025.

Possible Next Steps
Open a Co-Creation Cycle in January: Inspired by Scroll DAO, initiate a collaborative process for defining Mission, Vision, and Purpose.
Formalize Goals and KPIs: Once aligned on the Mission, Vision, and Purpose, present these strategic objectives for a DAO-wide vote.
Implement and Track Progress: Use analytics tools like Dune adn Karma to monitor KPIs quarterly and adjust based on results.
This framework is flexible and designed to evolve based on feedback. I’d love to hear everyone’s thoughts and suggestions
