RRC-24 Empowering Latin American Artists Through Art (Corrected Version)
Vote: For
Rationale: I believe it is important to generate more activity on Rari Chain and this is a worthwhile experiment in doing so. The funding amount is reasonable for the timeframe of the initiative and if successful in generating activity on Rari Chain I would support extensions.
RRC 30 - Enhancing RARI DAO Governance: Plan for upgrade
Vote: For
Rationale: I support this proposal to upgrade RARI DAO governance and migrate it to Arbitrum. The move will make participation more accessible by reducing costs and enabling multichain governance.
RRC-31: Trial run a Governance Working Group
Vote: Against
Rationale: I voted against this proposal due to its lack of clear, measurable objectives and ambiguity regarding deliverables and responsibilities. Furthermore, the planned distribution of leftover funds raises concerns about transparency and proper resource allocation.
RRC-32: [Updated] Trial run a Governance Working Group
Vote: Against
Rationale: I voted against this proposal for the same reasons I voted against RRC-31. Although I appreciate the author’s efforts to improve the proposal I believe it is bad precedent to distribute “buffer” funds to WG contributors and there has been no reasoning given for this. I also feel KPIs and deliverables are still not concretely defined.
RRC-33: Continuation of RARI DAO Security Council
Vote: For
Rationale: I supported this proposal because maintaining the Security Council is essential for safeguarding the DAO’s infrastructure and responding swiftly to security threats. The continuation ensures ongoing risk mitigation and safety.
RRC-34: Enable RARI Staking
Vote: Against
Rationale: I did not see the need or benefit of this proposal. I would prefer to move away from the veToken model in favor of a simplified governance system. The proposal introduces significant costs for an unproven system and feels like a solution looking for a problem.
RRC-35: DAO Code of Conduct
Vote: For
Rationale: I voted for this proposal as it provides clear behavioral expectations for DAO participants, helping foster a more professional environment.
RRC-36: Rumble.exchange – DAO Support Proposal
Vote: Against
Rationale: I voted against this proposal as it appeared to chase a trend where the DAO is unlikely to be competitive due to dominant incumbents. I believe the DAO should stay focused on its core strength - NFTs - rather than diverting resources to unrelated or less promising verticals.
RRC-37: RARI Foundation 2025 Operational Budget
Vote: For
Rationale: I tentatively supported this proposal. I feel the spend is far too high given the state of the DAO treasury and the questionable achievements of the Foundation over the last year. Certain categories seem far too high, for example marketing could be cut significantly. It has also come to my attention that the Foundation has significant dollar denominated reserves, I see no reason why these can’t be taken into account when requesting budget. Let’s remember the Foundation exists to serve the DAO not the other way around. I will not vote in favour of further budgets unless significant changes are made.
RRC-38: Updating and Migrating Delegate Launchpad Program
Vote: For
Rationale: I voted in favor of this proposal because it supports a program that has seen success in past years. The Delegate Launchpad plays a central role in onboarding and educating new delegates, and the update/migration ensures it remains effective and scalable as the DAO grows.
RRC-39: Multichain Primary & Secondary Protocol Fees
Vote: For
Rationale: I supported this proposal as it marks a significant step forward in the DAO’s maturity. It strengthens the alignment between the DAO and its core business, the Rarible marketplace, by addressing how protocol fees are handled across chains.
RRC-40: RARI DAO Delegate Incentive Program
Vote: For
Rationale: I was an author on this proposal and believe it will encourage new governance participants to enter and enliven the DAO. We’ve already seen interest in the forums from individuals looking to join based on the delegate incentives program. While there is some risk of overspend given the DAO treasury’s current state, this is mitigated by the requirement that each quarterly distribution must be approved through governance.
